ENDORSEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

UFCW Local 1994/MCGEO is proud to endorse Anthony Tilghman for Maryland House of Delegates, District 25.

Tilghman isn’t someone who suddenly “finds” labor during campaign season—he’s been showing up, speaking out, and standing with workers long before this race. As a District Heights Commissioner, he’s built a real track record of fighting for fairness, transparency, and accountability.

When municipal employees in District Heights organized for the right to collectively bargain, Tilghman stood with them from day one—and never backed down, even in the face of delays and resistance. That’s what solidarity looks like.

“He doesn’t just talk about supporting workers—he’s done the work.” — UFCW Local 1994/MCGEO President Gino Renne

“I have known Anthony Tilghman for ten years,” said Tony Parrott, District Heights city employee and union leader. “He is one of the strongest advocates for workers’ rights I know. He listens, he shows up, and he fights. If elected as our Delegate, I am confident he will carry that same commitment to Annapolis.”

At a time when working families need leaders who will actually deliver—not just make promises—Tilghman has proven he’s ready to take that fight to Annapolis.💪
