Prince George’s County Community Resource Guide
Compiled by Anthony Tilghman
As a father, former educator, and current Commissioner in District Heights, I’ve spent years working alongside families, small businesses, and faith leaders who are doing the hard work of lifting our communities every day. But I’ve also seen the gaps — the moments when our neighbors need help and don’t know where to turn.
This guide was created to bridge those gaps. It’s an updated and practical directory of essential resources for anyone in Prince George’s County who needs access to:
✅ Food
✅ Housing
✅ Employment Support
✅ Mental Health Care
✅ Legal Assistance
✅ Transportation
✅ Disability and Crisis Services
✅ Domestic Violence Resources
In a time when the cost of living is rising and too many residents are left navigating broken systems, I believe leaders must step up—not just to talk about solutions, but to connect people to them. That’s why I’ve compiled this 2025 edition of the Community Resource Guide — to ensure families, seniors, and youth across District 25 can find real help, right now.
📌 Whether you’re a single parent, a senior on fixed income, a returning citizen, or a student searching for opportunity — this guide is for you.
Let’s keep building a stronger, more informed, and more compassionate community — together.
In service,
Anthony Tilghman
