Leadership

Collaboration within our community allows us to achieve great things.

He has organized monthly Board of Education recaps, ensuring transparency and community involvement, and spearheaded annual youth trip to Annapolis, giving students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the legislative process and meet with state officials.

In addition to his work in education, Anthony serves on several boards, including:

•The Father’s, Men, and Boys Commission for Prince George’s County.

•The Citizens Advisory Council for District 8 Police Department, and

•Chairing the Bylaws Committee for the Central Coalition of Prince George’s County.

As Executive Director of MakeSmartCool Inc. Anthony Tilghman has partnered with the Prince George’s County library system to lead programs like “Kids Read” and Chess Club , fostering literacy and critical thinking skills. His experience as an educator, teaching digital media to youth, further reflects his dedication to nurturing the next generation.

By working together and genuinely supporting our residents, Anthony believes we can create real and lasting change in Prince George’s County.

Strong Values & Legacy

I understand the challenges we are facing and I am ready to work on solutions for our state!

The Tilghman Name in Maryland runs deep. Tilghman Island in Talbot County and a visit to the State House in Annapolis reveals the Tilghman Sword, a symbol of service to Maryland since colonial times. This history inspires me to continue this tradition of commitment to our state. My campaign is built on the qualities of a well-crafted sword: strong values, the flexibility of open-mindedness to innovation, resilience in the face of challenges, a steadfast dedication to serving the people of Maryland, and most importantly, a willingness to listen and use my skills and talents on behalf of those who need it most.
