Anthony is a proven leader who has worked tirelessly to improve our community. As a Commissioner, he has:
– Established the first in-house Workforce Development Lab in District Heights, making it the first municipality with a workforce development center connecting residents to local jobs, training, and resources.
When I ran for office in District Heights, one of my top campaign promises was to prioritize workforce development—and I’m proud to say we delivered in my first year.
What We Achieved:
– Launched job training programs tailored to local industries.
– Partnered with businesses to create apprenticeship opportunities for young adults.
– Held career fairs and provided resources to help residents gain the skills needed to thrive in today’s economy.
This is just the beginning. Workforce development is key to a brighter future for District Heights, and I’m committed to continuing this momentum. Together, we’ll keep building opportunities for everyone.
As Your Delegate, I Will:
Expand job training programs across District 25 to prepare residents for high-demand careers.
Create more apprenticeship opportunities by partnering with businesses & trade schools.
Advocate for funding to establish Workforce Development Centers in underserved areas.
Support small businesses & entrepreneurs with resources to grow & hire locally.
Ensure equitable access to workforce programs for youth, returning citizens, and veterans.
A strong workforce builds a strong economy. I’m committed to expanding career pathways, increasing wages, and creating lasting opportunities for our community.
